Tesla Slashes Model S and X Prices for the Second Time This Year
The American electric car maker, Tesla, announced a new reduction in the prices of its cars, days after its CEO, Elon Musk, announced an increase in interest in the company’s cars after lowering their prices earlier this year.
According to the Tesla website, the price of the Model S starts at $89.99,000, and the Model X starts at $99.99,000 in the US market, which is 5.3% or 9.1% lower than the previous price, respectively.
Bloomberg news agency indicated that the company reduced the prices of the higher category of the two cars by 4.3% and 8.3%, respectively, adding that with the price reaching $109.99 thousand, the price of the Blade category of the two cars, Model S and Model X, is lower by 26 thousand and 29 thousand for each model, compared to At the price in early January last.
