Sell your car in less than half an hour
/in General /by SimplyCarBuyer.comOnce upon a time, selling your car meant putting an add in the local paper, showing endless buyers the ins and outs of your motor and haggling over price. If you chose to part exchange, you were pretty much guaranteed a bad deal, with just a small discount offered on your new purchase.
Fast-forward a few years, however, and selling your car has become a whole lot easier. In fact, you can now get a great price for your old car in less than half an hour. Keep reading to find out how.
Find the right dealership
When you type “sell my car” into the search engine, you may well be surprised by the number of businesses that come up. Make an appointment
If you want to sell your car in the UAE quickly and easily, make an appointment with simplycarbuyers.com. Unlike other car buyers in UAE, simplycarbuyers.com can value, buy and complete on your car in just 25 minutes, leaving you free to get back to work and get on with your day safe in the knowledge you’ve got a great deal on your car.

Women vs. Men .. Who is more into cars?
/in General /by SimplyCarBuyer.comThe Cars’Advertising Take Off
Since the very first steam-powered automobile was created way back in 1768, the car industry has been largely geared towards men. In fact, for many years, you only had to watch the average car advertisement on TV to see that a masculine, powerful edge seemed to win every time.
Women vs. Men
But women and cars have steadily been building a love affair of their very own over the past few decades. Growing independence, more equality and a more modern outlook on female empowerment has proved to car manufacturers that when it comes to women versus men, the automotive scales are not so unequal after all.
Women and cars in history
From the mid 1970 onward, women started to be encouraged by their families to go after high-powered careers of their own. No longer were they pushed into motherhood and marriage at an early age; instead they started heading off to university to gain their degrees and build a more independent life for themselves. It was at this point that more and more women started studying for their driver’s licence and picking up their very own first car.
Keeping women in mind
Fortunately, the more forward-thinking manufacturers are no longer thinking in terms of ‘men vs. women’; it’s more about the market in general and making sure that all needs are catered for. Working women, busy mums, young professionals: they all need to get behind the wheel to go about their daily activities.
Some studies have shown that, when buying a family car, women tend to guide the eventual buying decision more than men. An extensive study conducted by the RAC Foundation discovered that between the years of 1995 and 2010, the number of female drivers in the UK increased by 23%, compared to a 9% increase in male drivers (source: AutoExpress.co.uk).
All of this goes to show that women are no longer pictured as the passive passenger sitting quietly in the car, next to the man in her life. The modern woman is more than willing and able to take the wheel with confidence, and the recent rise in female-oriented car marketing campaigns seems to be reflecting that fact.

Cars’Interesting Facts:I bit you’ve heard about number 6!!
/in General /by SimplyCarBuyer.comWe all know that cars are very fun to buy, and to use! but have you ever thought to dig deeper into some facts of the cars? or have you ever thought to look into the history of some kind of cars? like to discover new features or new parts that you’ve never imagined they exist?
Well, today we are giving you some behind the scene facts about some cars, that we found interesting!
1- Honda: The Honda CRV, first and second generations, came with standard flip out picnic table! The first generation had an option of a shower kit in the back!
2- Porsche: The first Porsche Sedan was a Studebaker! Porsche actually built a prototype sedan for Studebaker in 1952 and called it the Type 542. It was a big move in production but many see it as prettier than now a day Porsche productions.
3- Austin Maestro: The Austin Maestro had different Genders in different Countries! It was one of the first cars that used a digital dashboard, they had an actress called Nicolette Mackenzie, who used to read the warnings out, like the low oil pressure, the break servicing, and others. In some markets like Spain and Germany, Austin Maestro gave the car a male voice, because Germans and Spaniards wouldn’t have accepted taking orders from women!
4- Saab: People who owned a Saab, could Play a pong !
5- Maclaren F1 : used a Chevy V8 , as it needed an engine to test its gearbox, for the F1. The Maclaren’s motor needed to have enough torque to be replicate their eventual production unit, so what they did was basically a good Ol’Chevy 454 big block!
6- Frisky: a car that an Arab President helped building it from a British micro car called the frisky!
7- In Malaysia, if a car is super expensive, the competitor can have the car’s price raised. and this is considered a weird cars regulation. It happens as follows; Competitors can actually file a complaint to the authorities and the authorities by law, allows them hike up the price of that vehicle (forcefully) to ‘level’ competition-ship. and this happened with the Passat CC that was given a hike of $10,000 from $80,000 to $90,000. And the VW Polo GTI that has also experienced this obligation, going from $46,000 to $56,000!
A Wake Up Call : Before you buy a used car
/in General /by SimplyCarBuyer.comBuying a used car, might make more sense from a financial perspective , but on the other hand it is risky, as you might get deceived or trapped.
You still insist on buying a used car?
Keep these points in mind, and .. Enjoy your safe drive!
If you could cover all of the points above , smartly, then .. Congratulations on your car!
Drive safe.
How old is your car? Can I buy it!
/in General /by SimplyCarBuyer.comDo you think there are rules set to the right time of selling your car? Do you usually wait until the warranty is over? or do you sell it when it is not suitable anymore? or do you wait until the car stops working and you need a car to move around?
Well, The great news from Simply Car Buyers, is that there is no particular age of depreciation and value decline rate. Cars might start depreciation in the first couple of months, but it is a matter of a know how to use, how to sustain , and then when to sell.
Always remember , the younger the car, the more it is worth!
The Market is a major influential factor and this is something no one has a control over, so lets say someone is offering to sell an Audi car and it sold a lot of cars to the daily rental business last month, those cars will come on to the market next month and the price of Audi will drop.
So, when do cars start to go wrong if there is no actual perfect age for selling in depreciation and price terms?
reliabilityindex.com suggests that when cars reach 5 years old their failure rate is higher than at any time in their life, and start to go wrong more from about 60,000 miles.
This justifies the depreciation trap a person might fall in, but leave it a bit late and reliability could be a factor that plays a major role valuating your car. Always consider the fluctuating market as well, as to be informed is very important when it comes to car selling and buying.
