GAC launched the Trumpchi Concept One in collaboration with Huawei, marking a production-ready sedan. This model represents the first collaboration with Huawei among three upcoming models. This initiative reflects GAC’s commitment to expanding its automotive offerings. The Concept One features design elements revealed in May, emphasizing advanced design and technology.

At the 2024 Beijing Auto Show, GAC Trumpchi announced a partnership with Huawei. They plan to launch models equipped with the Qiancong intelligent driving system and the latest HarmonyOS cockpit. These systems showcase rapid technological advancements in the automotive industry, focusing on enhanced driving experiences. The production version of this vehicle is set to launch in Q1 2025.

Specifications and Features

The Concept One boasts a wheelbase of 3,000 mm and an overall length of 5,128 mm. It features 21-inch wheels that enhance its exterior appeal. The design follows a third-generation styling language. At the front, the car includes a closed grille, with a lit logo surrounded by running lights. Furthermore, it has a wrap around the frameless doors, creating a contemporary look. The rear also features attractively designed taillights. The vehicle will utilize the advanced HarmonyOS for its cockpit and incorporate Huawei’s Qiancong system.

This is one of the latest technologies in the market. A LIDAR unit mounted on the roof indicates that the vehicle will utilize the highest version of the Qiancong-system. By employing artificial intelligence, the car aims to address issues with frequent engine start-stop cycles. In turn, this will reduce fuel consumption. This technology improves the NVH system by 30% and decreases fuel consumption by 15%. It will also enhance the electric range. The vehicle employs an all-wheel-drive system. This system distributed across three motors, boosting performance and driving stability. It features an improved 56 kWh battery. It has a design of 5C charging on an 800-volt platform, making charging more efficient and faster. The full electric range exceeds 300 kilometers, showcasing the potential of this innovative sedan.
