Aito M7: 200,000 Vehicles Launch
Aito announced its M7 series delivered over 200,000 vehicles within 12 months of launch. The Aito M7 represents the second product from the Aito brand. Huawei and Seres created this brand together. Recently, Seres acquired the Aito brand and patents from Huawei. The Aito M7 launched in July 2022 with three variants. The new Aito M7 debuted on September 12, 2023.
It showcases innovative features and designs for consumers. The M7 series offers five-seat and six-seat options across five variants. Later, the series added two intelligent driving levels with rear-wheel drive. The price range for these variants spans from $35,100 to $47,000, appealing to many buyers. In 2024, the Aito M7 series expanded with two new models. They are the Aito M7 Ultra and Aito M7 Pro. The Pro model launched on August 26 and offers four different variants. Prices for the Pro range from $35,100 to $40,700. This model includes Huawei’s foundational technology for enhanced features.
Outstanding Features
The Pro features three millimeter-wave radars and ten high-definition cameras for improved safety. It also includes twelve ultrasonic radars for comprehensive navigation assistance. This technology supports pedestrian detection and obstacle avoidance for safer driving. Additionally, the vehicle offers smart parking assistance and automatic emergency braking. The braking function works effectively at speeds up to 120 km/h. The new Aito M7 series gained remarkable interest, receiving over 50,000 orders in just 25 days. Total deliveries reached 30,635 units after 84 days of availability. The series exceeded 100,000 units sold after 170 days, showing strong consumer demand. As of September 22, cumulative sales for the Aito M7 series hit 149,600 units in 2024. In August alone, the series delivered 10,261 vehicles, solidifying its market position. It ranked first in new energy vehicle sales during the first eight months of 2024.
